"THE KNIVES HELPING TO BUILD AMERICA SINCE 1926"

Switchblades

The very first auto knife that launched the Auto Series™ for Colonial was originally designated the M-724 under the National Stock Number (NSN) 5110-00-526-8740 knife, auto rescue. The M-724 is currently being issued for use in all military aircraft ejection seat survival kits. The primary purpose of the auto rescue knife is to help the downed pilot or aircrew get out of any dangerous situation that they may encounter behind enemy lines.
A situation that involves SURVIVAL, EVASION and ESCAPE for the person isolated behind enemy lines or on the battlefield requires a utilitarian no frills knife/tool, the type that can easily maintained while surviving extreme use in all conditions. Today, Colonial offers a number of different Auto tools' based on the exact U.S government specifications as the current military issued M-724-rescue knife. Some of the examples of Colonial's Auto Tools™ are the “Auto Marlin Spike” for riggers, the Auto Hook™ designed for firefighters, Police and E.M.T. personnel and the “Auto Shackle” for Blue water sailors.
